“For the first time in a long time, we got up way too early to get on a plane and then get to a hotel — to be here for y’all!”
Who doesn’t want a private concert with an award-winning musician?
Two-time ACM award-winner Carly Pearce treated Diamond members to an exclusive private concert at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country in Las Vegas for her first #DiamondLIVE gig. The country music star snagged her two wins at the 2021 ACMs with Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year for her No. 1 hit “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” a duet with Diamond Celebrity ambassador Lee Brice.
Casually dressed and with her bandmates in tow, Pearce put on an intimate show that felt more like a reunion with good friends as she engaged with members and shared stories in between songs. She showcased tunes from her current project, “29,” which reveals snapshots of her journey through life. Heartfelt, funny and down to earth, Pearce’s connection with the audience created a magical atmosphere where members could truly take a break from the routine.
Opening with “Careless,” Pearce began her set with high energy, quickly moving into “You Kissed Me First” in a celebration of the butterflies of new love — and shouting out the lovebirds in the audience. She brought the audience back to her 90s country roots with The Chicks hit, “Cowboy Take Me Away,” and wrote a letter to her music idol in her original “Dear Loretta.” Pearce showed how her music has changed with her growing career.
Of course, there was no other way to close out the show than with her award-winning single “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”
After the show, a couple who enjoyed a front-row seat to the evening shared their experience.
“We love it! We were young when we joined; we were Carly’s age,” said Becky and Constantinos, who have been Diamond Platinum members for 14 years. “We love the entertainment of course, and there’s so much comradery! It’s like we have a whole room of new friends.”
The couple waved and met back up with another pair of members they met during the concert — all smiles.
