Are you ready for your close-up?
Ken Block and Drew Copeland from southern rock band Sister Hazel were ready when they joined #DiamondLIVE @ Home on Thursday, April 23 to perform for Diamond Resorts members and fans.
Seriously, Drew’s face was inches from the camera.
“I know we’re all quarantined, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get together online and have some fun,” said Drew at the start of the live show.
Fans tuned into the latest virtual concert on the Diamond Resorts Facebook page to hear Ken and Drew perform a few of Sister Hazel’s biggest hits. The duo set up in Drew’s living room to treat the audience to acoustic renditions of “Change Your Mind,” “Champagne High,” “This Kind of Love” and “All For You.”
Ken and Drew also chatted with viewers about their social distancing strategies, giving everyone a look into their lives and what they’ve been up to lately.
“Don’t tell the rest of the band that we were doing this because they think that we’re on radio silence right now,” Drew joked.
Ken and Drew have been uploading a new video series to the Sister Hazel YouTube channel called “Front Porch Jams” this month, where the two bandmates sing together on Drew’s front porch. And if you want to hear more of their music, check out Sister Hazel’s latest album “Elements.”
While most of the world is staying indoors, Diamond Resorts is sharing positive experiences with members, owners and guests from afar through the new #DiamondLIVE @ Home event series. More events are already in the works, with appearances from Colt Ford, Easton Corbin, Michael Waltrip, Tyler Farr and more coming soon.
