Who said you can’t enjoy a good concert while social distancing?
Certainly not Lee Brice.
The GRAMMY-nominated country star proved that you can rock out from just about anywhere when he performed a live show for hundreds of Diamond Resorts members and fans – live from his living room on Thursday, April 9.
“We want to play some music,” said Brice, as he opened the live show. “Diamond Resorts has been so good to us and they’re being so good to so many folks right now who really deserve and really need it, and so we’re going to play some songs.”
That’s exactly what he did – performing his hit singles “Hard To Love,” “Rumor” and “I Drive Your Truck,” while chatting live with fans in between.
The show, which aired live on the Diamond Resorts Facebook page, was a new take on the popular Diamond Live concert series and brought Brice into the homes of members to help spread positivity during this unprecedented time.
Plus, who doesn’t love watching a concert from the comfort of their own couch?
As a Diamond Celebrity ambassador, Brice typically performs private concerts for Diamond Resorts members at select destinations throughout the year. The performances have been postponed for a bit, but that doesn’t mean everyone can’t come together – virtually – to share a unique and memorable experience.
To keep it personal, members and fans submitted questions for Brice to answer during the show. In response, he shed some light on how he got his start in the music industry, his inspiration for some of his hit songs and what job he might have if he wasn’t a professional musician.
And, if you want to hear more of Brice’s music, check out his new single, “One of Them Girls,” which hits the radio on April 10.
In addition to launching #DiamondLIVE @ Home, Diamond Resorts has announced it is offering complimentary accommodations to medical personnel and first responders to provide them with a comfortable and convenient place to rest while they carry out their critical work during the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, Diamond has confirmed more than 4,400 room nights at resorts across the country. You can read more about the initiative here.
While this is an uncertain time for many, Diamond Resorts is hoping to share some good with the world. And everyone is looking forward to when we can welcome members, owners and guests home at our resorts again.
