When you can’t go to the party, bring the party home.
That’s exactly what Dee Jay Silver did for the latest #DiamondLIVE @ Home happy hour event on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. The innovative country DJ took over the Diamond Resorts Facebook page – with some special guests – to give members and fans a little mid-week boost.
You may have seen him jamming at hole 18 during the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, or perhaps you’ve seen him perform on tour with some of the country music’s top artists, including Jason Aldean, Luke Combs or Kane Brown.
But one thing is certain – Dee Jay Silver knows how to party.
Country artist Chuck Wicks joined Silver on the back porch of his home in Nashville, Tennessee for the unique virtual event. Wicks recently married his wife Kasi – who is Jason Aldean’s younger sister – at Diamond’s Cabo Azul Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. While reminiscing about the unforgettable weeklong celebration in Cabo, Kasi popped into the livestream to share her memories of the resort.
Silver and Wicks answered some fan questions about the first concerts they attended and what they’ve been doing to stay busy while at home. Silver said he is itching to get back on the road, but this time has allowed him the chance to experience things with his family that touring would’ve made him miss – like being there for his daughter’s first birthday.
“You’ve gotta find the good parts,” Silver said.
Silver joined the Diamond Celebrity ambassador roster earlier this year, and said he can’t wait to perform for fans at more Diamond Live events when it’s safe to do so.
In fact, he joked that everyone has a standing invite to his epic pool party at Cabo Azul Resort, once we can all travel safely again.
