With summer officially here, it’s difficult not to think about beach escapes and outdoorsy retreats. With warmer weather and longer, sunshine-filled days comes a sense of freedom and relaxation that no other season brings.
That may look a little different this year, but whether you’re getting ready for a getaway or planning a future trip, we’re all dreaming of a much-needed break.
After being temporarily closed, many Diamond Resorts destinations are opening up across the country and team members can’t wait to welcome our members, owners and guests back home when the time is right. Behind the scenes, Diamond has been working hard to create new policies and procedures to make vacations as safe as possible.
Last month, Diamond announced it has been closely monitoring guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other public health agencies and consulting with in-house and outside experts to expand their existing Diamond Standard of Clean protocols. These include low contact check-ins with plexiglass partitions at every front desk and the use of new cleaning technologies, such as electrostatic sprayers, which uniformly mist disinfectant to sanitize surfaces.
So, when you’re ready for your vacation, Diamond will be prepared to welcome you home.
Not quite ready to travel? We get it. You can still explore the world with a virtual vacation right from your couch. Get lost in mountains while watching a live webcam from the Ober Gatlinburg ski slopes in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Or, go for a dip in Scottsdale, Arizona, with desert pupfish in the Salt River.
Dreaming of enjoying a live concert or attending a sporting event? Us, too. Be sure to check out the weekly #DiamondLIVE @ Home virtual event series on the Diamond Resorts Facebook page to catch live, acoustic shows and appearances from some of your favorite stars.
In the meantime, the Diamond Celebrity ambassadors have a special message for members and fans. Check it out below and don’t forget to share with your friends using #DiamondResorts.
